Welcome to the home page of the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the American Statistical Association (ASA). The purpose of this site is to provide information on some Chapter activities and to serve as a possible location for some Internet statistical resources.

Recent Highlights

·         Our Fall 2011 meeting was held on October 3rd, 2011 at Saginaw Valley State University. Our guest speaker was ASA President-elect Dr. Robert N. Rodriguez. Dr. Rodriguez is senior director of statistical research and development at the SAS Institute. He spoke on “New Opportunities for Statisticians in the World of Business”.

·         Our Spring 2011 meeting was held on April 14th, 2011 at Central Michigan University. Our guest speaker was Dr. Aric LaBarr, Teaching Assistant Professor, Institute of Advanced Analytics at North Carolina State University, who spoke on “Preparing Students for the Future of Analytics”.
